Kurugöl is a lake covering 4.87 hectares within a 21.95-hectare Nature Park. Located in the Kaynaşlı district of Düzce, Kurugöl was registered as a picnic area in 2004 and as a nature park in 2011. Covered with beech, oak, and hornbeam trees, Kurugöl is ideal for photo safaris, sport fishing, camping, and cycling. Kurugöl Nature Park is 14 kilometers from Düzce city center, 23 kilometers from the TEM Düzce exit, and 7 kilometers from the TEM Kaynaşlı exit.
