Situated at an altitude of 1,830 meters above sea level, the plateau covers an area of 180 hectares. One of the highest points in Düzce, Kardüz Plateau is a promising candidate for winter tourism. Similar in characteristics to the Bolu Kartalkaya Ski Center, Kardüz Plateau offers winter sports as well as activities such as jeep safari, photo safari, mountain biking, trekking, horseback riding, and camping for enthusiasts. Kardüz Plateau has been designated and declared a "Cultural and Tourism Protection and Development Area" by a Cabinet Decree.
