How to Get There: From Istanbul, exit at the Gölyaka Tollgates on the D-100 Highway or TEM Motorway; from Ankara, exit at the Kaynaşlı Tollgates on the D-100 Highway or TEM Motorway and follow the Düzce-Akçakoca direction to reach Akçakoca. Aktaş Waterfall is 55 kilometers from Düzce and 11 kilometers from the district center.

Aktaş Waterfall is located in Aktaş village of Akçakoca district. The waterfall is notable for its natural beauty and the rich vegetation surrounding it. A popular destination for tourists visiting the region, Aktaş Waterfall, with its sound of water falling from a height of 50 meters and the surrounding greenery, is ideal for trekking, photo safaris, and other nature activities.

 
Aktaş Waterfall also boasts one of Akçakoca's important hiking trails. The trail, starting from the Göktepe village turnoff on the Akçakoca ring road, is 10 km long. It is a moderately challenging trail that mostly follows the stream bank. It continues through the Aktaş Valley and ends at the waterfall.
